Is my phone compatible with wireless charging?

Most modern phones are compatible and able to be charged wirelessly. What you need to check is whether your phone has a Qi wireless receiver built in, or whether you'll need to purchase one from our store to make it ready to accept wireless charging.

Any Samsung Galaxy model from the S6 onwards (including the S6, S7 & S8) have wireless receivers built in as standard, meaning all you need to purchase is the charger. Other popular smartphones including Nokia 920, 928, 930, 820, 1520, HTC 8X, Droid DNA, Rzound, Incredible 4G LTE and Google Nexus 4, 5, 6,7, LG D1L, LTE2, G3 are also enabled. Any more recent models not listed will almost certainly include them if you're not sure check your model details online.

All iPhone models (prior to the iPhone 8 & X) will need a Qi receiver, in addition to the charger, in order to set up wireless charging. You can choose from a wireless receiver card that slots under your current case, or you can opt for a wireless jacket that includes the receiver built-in. 

What are the Qi Fast Chargers and can I use them?

The Qi Fast Chargers are compatible with all Qi-enabled devices, but you will only benefit from the faster-charging rate if your phone supports it, i.e. the Samsung S6 onwards, currently not the iPhone 8 or X models. By purchasing them now will mean that when you change phones you could benefit in the future since they also work as a standard Qi charger.

What is the warranty on Wireless phone chargers products?

All our products carry a one year warranty covering any manufacturer defects.

In the unlikely event that your WPC wireless charger or receiver should develop a manufacture related fault during this period, please get in touch with us and we will be able to take the necessary action to arrange a replacement after the product is returned in its original packaging. This warranty does not cover miss-use or damage from liquids.

Why is there such a difference in price of QI Chargers and receivers on the internet?

There is a vast variation in quality of electronics available from eBay, Amazon and specialised websites, such as ourselves. As with all consumer electronics, you very much get what you pay for. All our wireless phone chargers are manufactured by members of the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) and authorised and tested by their standards authority.

Although some of the outer cases are available to general manufacturers, it is the electronics and safety circuits that are most important. Two identical looking products can perform very differently. In 5 years of specialising in portable power, Wireless and solar products, we have been very careful in sourcing legitimate and high-quality products, that should work for years, rather than weeks.  That is also why all our products carry a 1 year warranty.

What is the latest time I can order for Next Day Delivery?

All orders requiring next day delivery need to be placed by 11.00am.  Any orders placed on a Friday will be delivered the next working day, i.e. Monday

How do I use the Qi wireless charging in a  Lexus or a new car with WPC Qi Wireless Charging Pad?

To use the QI wireless charging pad in the new Lexus or any other new car, you need to make sure your mobile phone is Qi-enabled with a receiver, such as the Samsung S6, Google Nexus, if not choose the correct receiver or contact us for advice.
