These Qi receiver cards are intended for use with your own phone cover. You simply remove your back cover, line up the contacts alongside the battery with those on the card, remove the sticky tape and replace the cover. If you are just testing out the card, you might want to use something temporary to hold it in place until you have set it up right. The Qi card will also work through most protective phone covers and when used in combination with a standard Qi transmitter or power bank, will act as a Samsung Galaxy S4 wireless charging device. The Qi receiver cards comply with current WPC standards. Additionally, parts used in the device are made by companies which are presently member of the WPC.
